Baked Stuffed Jalapeño Poppers

12 large Fresh Jalapeños, sliced in half and seeded

1 pk (10 oz) El Mexicano® Longaniza or Pork/Beef Chorizo, casings removed

2 cups El Mexicano® Queso Oaxaca

1 cup El Mexicano® Crema Oaxaqueña

Preparation Method

1. In a skillet cook the El Mexicano® Longaniza or Chorizo and drain any excess oil. Set aside.

2. Pre heat oven at 350°.

3. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the jalapeño halves on it. Fill them with the crumbled pork/beef chorizo.

4. Top jalapeños with El Mexicano® Queso Oaxaca and bake at 350° for approximately 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted thoroughly and gets slightly golden brown on top.

5. Serve immediately with a side of Crema Oaxaqueña and Guacamole!
